Logging Out

Now that you have completed everything that you needed to do with your D2L session, it is important that you log out properly. This is especially important for when you are accessing your D2L through a public computer such as the ones found in the computer labs throughout campus.


To log out, you can either begin by going to the main page by clicking my home located a the top left of any D2L page. The other option is clicking on your name located at the top right of your page.

If you went to your home page, you will find the log out button shown in the picture below. Click on that button.

If you clicked on your name, locate the log out button from the drop down menu shown in the picture below also.

 After clicking on the log out button, you will be directed to a page that looks like the following.

To completely log out, you will to exit the browser and be sure to exit from any page that was also logged in at the time.
