Uploading an Assignment

You worked all week on that hard assignment, handing it in shouldn't be the hardest part. Below is some simple steps to get your assignment into the dropbox via D2L.

If you haven't already signed into your D2L, begin with that.
Next step is to make sure you are in the proper courses D2L page.

If you are having trouble with either of those two steps you can click here to get help signing in, or click here get help accessing the course.

Now that you are in the course content window, locate the assessment button at the top of the screen. (It has a yellow ruler next to it) and click it. This opens up a drop down menu, from which you will select dropbox.

Locate the proper assignment that you are trying to hand in (i.e, A1 if its assignment 1) This part can sometimes be tricky, as the actual Assignment is posted under the attachments tab, and the A1 link can sometimes be barely visible above it. In this example it is nice and pronounced. All the links should be in a similar position to these ones.

Click on the add a file button in the submit files section.

This screen will pop up.

From this screen you can either click on the green upload button, and select your file from whatever destination folder you have it located in on your computer, or you can "drag and drop" the assignment.
The system can handle multiple files being submitted at the same time, though most proffessors will ask that you .zip all files so that it comes in one neat folder. Below are links on how to do .zip folders in a few of the more popular Operating systems.

Windows
Mac
